Hello Hello Hello!

On Tuesday, we went to see the ballet Grande Choreographia.  It was very cool to see these amazing performers that have been working so hard on something to show off everything they have.  It was absolutely incredible and beautiful to watch.  During the second act of the ballet, there was a woman who was performing for the last time in her entire life.  Seriously, it was absolutely beautiful and she was amazing.  The girl sitting next to me from my program danced ballet for 9 years and said that she was the best performer she has ever seen.  The best part was after she performed and bowed about 20 different times; we found out that she was 42 years old.  It was absolutely shocking because she didn’t look a day over 25.  The ballet was an experience, here in Italy, which I have never had, so it was cool to see.  Unfortunately, it was super long and it made it hard to pay-attention, especially knowing the next day we were going to see the David.

Wednesday morning we met at 8:15AM at the Academia where the David is housed.  The Academia opens at 8:30AM and guess who was the first group to enter for that morning.  If you said Michigan State, you are absolutely CORRECT!  Being the only ones looking at the David and being the only ones in the whole Academia was such an experience that was worth the 5 hours of sleep I got the night before.  The David is such an incredible sculpture and not only stands tall, but we found out that he weighs 7 tons.  What a man!

One-Week Left.  Time Real,
