It's been so long! Welcome back!
A weekend to remember would be an understatement. We had so much on the agenda the past weekend and I will say that words and pictures don't do a justice!
We started out on Friday morning taking a bus with our professor to Monteriggioni which is a small town in the Tuscan country-side. It was so beautiful to see this medieval town. It took up about 2 minutes to walk through the whole town (that's how small it is)! We got an hour of free time to just roam around and as our professor says, "go frolicking" thru the town.
When we decided that we had enough time at the town, we got back on the bus and headed towards San Gimignano, another smaller "semi-touristy" town. San Gimignano was absolutely beautiful and is known for the World Champion of Gelato, Gelateria. So what did we do? We ate it of course! I had a fresh strawberry gelato with grapefruit sparkling wine flavor. IT was absolutely delicious! After spending time in San Gimignano, we got back on the bus and headed to Florence.

Arriving back in Florence felt good after a long day...but it didn't end there. We had a train booked for 5PM to head to Pisa for the rest of the day and then Cinque Terre that night. I felt like a REAL LIFE WORLD TRAVELER! Seeing Pisa again was pretty sweet. Got to take some pictures with the group and spend the day just enjoying all the leaning :)
After that we got on a train and headed to Cinque Terre.
